Be a part of the story
The only reason St. Editha's has been at the heart of Tamworth for 1000 years is because of the support of countless people - from the time of Offa and Aethelstan to the present day. We are tremendously grateful to people all over the world who support our work and help us to conserve, restore and improve this magnificent, grade-I listed church.

If you would like to be a part of the story, make your mark on history and create a difference at St. Editha's, there are three ways you can offer your support and encouragement:

Donate online
We are always grateful to receive donations online and are pleased to receive support from all over the world. If you would like to make a donation simply and securely, please click on the button below:

Join the Friends of St. Editha's
Originally established in the 1950s, and relaunched in 2023, the Friends group has members from across the UK and around the world.

Members make a massive difference in supporting our work through an annual donation, while many attend social events and remember the Friends with a legacy in their Will. Each year the Friends grant funds to help projects at St. Editha's ranging from repairs and conservation, to new equipment and liturgical art.

While supporting the church, as a member you will also receive:

-
regular updates by email or by post
-
an annual newsletter with interesting articles and exclusive photos
-
invitations to social events throughout the year
-
discounted admission to select concerts and performances at the church

Joining the Friends couldn't be simpler and costs just £20 per year. Simply CLICK HERE and fill out the application form, and we will take care of the rest!

Support us with your time
The biggest gift you can give to St. Editha's is your time. Whether its volunteering at our bookshop or cafe, stewarding services or events, helping to keep the building looking it's best, we are grateful to many people who make St. Editha's what it is. If you would like to find out more about how you might be able to make a difference to our work in this special place, please get in touch via the Parish office.
