About the event
Collaboration, chemistry and craft: rediscovering the wonder of preaching events.
Join Rev. Dr. Gary Hall, tutor in Ethics and preaching at the Queen’s foundation Birmingham, for a preaching masterclass! With practical ideas, illustrations and opportunities for conversation, this session is designed as a refresher and an encouragement for preachers at all stages. Our time together will be guided by questions such as:
- What is happening in a worship setting when the preacher leads a congregation’s encounter with the Bible? - How can preachers help worshippers repeatedly discover their place in God’s story?
- When do spoken words influence our way of being in the world?
Tickets £15, includes refreshments and a light lunch. Pay on arrival.
Booking essential - please email the parish office to reserve your place: tamworthparish@gmail.com
